Oh man! Service this morning was ah-mazing! Today we launched something I’m really excited about! It’s called “The 6:5 Project.” It was a result of your responses we’ve heard from the last couple of series. We love hearing your calls, getting your emails, FB messages, etc. It’s encouraging. Through your responses to the series, we realized what needed to happen in your life, my life, in the life of every Forefronter- is to have some concrete steps to engage our faith.

We targeted four different areas:
– God and You
– Others and You
– The Church and You
– The World and You

The name for the project came from the story where Jesus feeds the 5,000. In the Bible, Luke writes in chapter 6, verse 5:

[bra_blockquote align=”]”When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, ‘Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?'”[/bra_blockquote]

[bra_border_divider top=’5′ bottom=’5′]

Jesus knew what was about to happen… the miraculous. But, He wanted to see the faith of His followers.

From your personal relationship with God to relationships with others and the church, we all can be more intentional about how we act on our faith in Jesus. He’s calling us to be more- to be great. So birthed this idea of the 6:5 Project. You can download the packet here. Although the download doesn’t have the packaging we had this morning, you can use your own container for “The World and You” portion. We’re praying big things for you in your relationship with God.

We also want to come alongside you as you have questions in your 6:5 Project journey. So, you can email any of the staff and we’ll get together with you and talk about what God is doing in your life and how we can help. I’m SO PUMPED!!

BONUS: If you are looking to immediately start running with your Vietnam Food Project and share about it, here is the video mentioned in the PDF packet. The lunch program is towards the end.
