Have you ever had difficult times in life?
Ever wondered why God would allow you to enter into a rough patch?
Many times, we are able to reflect and understand it- when we’re on the other side. The song is “These Hard Times” by Needtobreathe, off their album “The Outsiders.”
Want to listen to the song? It’s embedded for your listening pleasure below.
This is a preview of some of the stuff that will happen this Friday Night at the Aidnow.org Benefit.

Inked. Branded. Marked.
What does it look like to be marked by God?
By His love, healing, restoring power?
A couple of weeks ago we launched a series titled, “Inked.” We’ve been looking at the healings of Jesus. People’s lives being touched (branded) by Jesus, they are healed, and life as they know it is never the same.
As we filmed for the series bumper at Fuzion Ink, we hung out and talked with the artists (one of which attends Forefront with his family) and it was so cool to hear their stories.
How life has moved them.
How their lives and their clients stories intertwine through this artistic medium.
How a community of artists who many people are scared of just because the way they look (craziness!), is actually an amazing family of people who look out for one another.

Last week we launched this series, “Inked” which is an extension of the scenes we see throughout the New Testament of the Bible. People’s lives being touched (branded) by Jesus, they are healed, and life as they know it is never the same.

Between the challenge laid down this past Sunday (post coming tomorrow), the Women’s Retreat and the Baptisms on Sunday… it’s be a terrific week for celebrating how God moves through the people of Forefront Church.
Check out the videos from things happening this past week:
We set out to see who could makeover their office into a winter wonderland.
But, here’s the catch:
YOU CHOOSE THE WINNER.
Below is a video walk-through of the space and Flickr slide-shows of each person’s space.
Once you check it all out, at the bottom of this post you can vote for the best.
They’ll receive a little prize for getting into the office fun.
Oh, and since I’m the one who set-up the contest, I cannot compete. But it was still a blast breaking out the power tools for my office makeover. Voting ends Saturday, Dec 12 at 8:00 AM EST. Let the voting begin!!!!!
I love watching Forefronters head out into the community and serve.
Holla FF Peeps!
So, what are you doing to serve the people of our community and share God’s love in a practical way?
after a long day of work, your house should greet you with a soundtrack and light up like this.
If I was having a lousy day, this would perk me right up. Plus it just rules. My neighbors would freak out if our house started doing something like this. Plus many of our neighbors are 65 or older and the lights & sound might interfere with their pace makers. That wouldn’t be good. If this was possible, we’d have to change our music to some ACDC. I’d like to kick my evening off right.
What do you do to get back into a good mood after a crummy day?
I’ve seen video blogs here and there, but doing them all the time and never posting in text can be a beast. But, I figured every once and awhile I’d do a video blog to catch you up on things, and more importantly so you can see the progress of my Paul Bunyan beard (which you will see has now been shaved). I needed a change people.
I wonder what God’s church would be like if we acted on opportunities to share life and conversation with others. I love the way the following video portrays the passion of making a connection with another person. I pray I can have this same kind of passion every single day, in the form of reaching people for Jesus. I never want to miss an opportunity…
