Cause it’s Friday I’m in “LINK” Love!

Thanks A-Latte

So I’ve been all about getting out of my house, jumping to the nearest java/food spot and do some blogging, creative planning while out in the world. But one of the places that has completely boggled me about not having free Wi-Fi is the one and only: Starbucks.

Well all that has changed my friends. You and I can now browse for two hours a day for absolutely nothing! What a novel idea eh?! Check out the scoop here.

*On a side note, if you want to see our Student Ministry Pastor get hit by a truck in front of a Starbucks, click here.

I Want It!

So #1. This is something I have been pining for ever since the first announcement last year and #2. It’s now down to $199 for the 8 gig model.  It has built in GPS, Apps Store, SMS, MobileMe, iTunes, Mail, Supports MS Word and Excel (and the list goes on). Sounds like some lovely wife has a birthday idea (hint, hint)

LogMeIn.com

So I have an HP Desktop at Work and a Macbook at home. The HP runs Windows XP Home and the Mac runs Leopard. I wanted to connect to them via remote desktop to see and use files, but that would mean installing Windows XP Pro on the HP… or does it?!?

Stumbled on Log Me In.com, it’s a desktop sharing client that you can use (for free). You can sign-up for other services including (audio share, drag and drop, etc), but I use ftp and I can send files directly anyways, but it’s nice to access the computer from home when I need a file that’s at the church office computer. So far, I love it and it makes life much easier. Check it out and let me know what you think.

New Kid on the Block

Albert Martin the lost New Kid?! No, but he is the next guy on the block to come out with a worship software that rivals Pro-Presenter in the Mac realm. Martin & Granger Community Church have released the first (after much beta testing) version of iWorship 1.0

It looks to give Renewed Vision a run for their money. Live video playback included and supports HD as well. I’m interested to see how it does in the long haul. I tested the beta copy and found it to run really smooth with no real issues. Check it out for yourself

My office, White Horse & Axel Rose?

So I’ve been toying around with the good ol’ Flip Video Ultra and I am digging it. Quick video on the spot and a decent quality for web stuff. Definitely a must buy if you are saying to yourself, “Man, I wish I had that moment on video” and you hate carrying around a big camera.

Alrighty, J-del **over and out**

ugh.

So I am going to buy a new digital camera, but it has to be super small and tons of mega pixels. (listen closely and you might be able to hear me crying for help)
