Favorites Week: Food
It’s “Favorites Week” here on the blog and today it’s all about food. This is an easy one for me. Actually it could be the hardest one for me, but I would just choose all of them in the same day. First off, to start the morning right I would head to Village Inn in Va Beach and get a western omelet, toast, sausage links, and a large orange juice. Probably get a side of bacon too since everything is better with bacon. That’s a motto to live by…
I’d then get my grub on for lunch by heading to Famous Uncle Al’s in Greenbrier over in Chesapeake. They have the best New York Spicy Dogs w/ sauerkraut, brown mustard, onions, and chili. Oh, and don’t forget the fries and a Dr. Pepper!
After I my breakfast & lunch stops, I’d make my dinner run over to Cracker Barrel in Va Beach near Lynnhaven Mall. I’d get the Country Fried Steak with saw mill gravy (on the side) with green beans, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Also, I’d grub on some free biscuits with apple butter.
To round out the day, my dessert treat would be at Bruster’s Ice Cream in Va Beach, off of Indian River Road. A waffle cone with chocolate ice cream. Two scoops. MMMmmmm!
Yeah, then I’d pass out in a food coma and wake up some time next week.
So, what’s your favorite place to eat?

So, it’s kind of a dead week here around the office/blog. People traveling, taking time with family, etc. So, I figured I’d do a favorites week to wrap up 2010 as we gear up for what looks to be an exciting 2011. Figured we’d kick off this week with Favorite Music/Bands. My music taste varies from year to year, but here are my current favorite bands I’m listening too now:
